My winter escape to Salzburger Land was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and inspiration. Nestled in the comfort of the stunning Tauern SPA hotel, we experienced the ideal balance between adrenaline-filled days on the slopes and tranquil moments of wellness.
One highlight of the trip was skiing on the awe-inspiring Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. Despite freezing temperatures and gusty winds, the breathtaking alpine panoramas made every moment unforgettable. Another magical experience was exploring the serene slopes of Rauris early in the morning. With perfectly groomed pistes, minimal crowds, and a serene atmosphere, it felt like stepping into a winter fairytale.
On day 3 we took part in a culinary journey in the Hochkönig region, the renowned Kulinarische Königstour. Gliding through fresh powder and pausing at cozy alpine huts to savor delicious specialties was a true delight—a seamless blend of sport and gastronomy.
Beyond the slopes, the trip offered moments of connection and relaxation. Whether unwinding in the hotel’s heated pools, sharing laughter over cozy dinners with fellow participants, or enjoying scenic torchlight hikes, every experience was infused with a sense of magic.
From carving through snow to soaking in the beauty of the winter wonderland, this trip reminded me of everything I love about the Alps. It was an unforgettable combination of sport, culture, and
serenity that left me inspired and excited for the adventures ahead.
